What started in Frankfurt as a small producer collective with just a handful of producers has grown into one of the leading labels for lofi & instrumental hip hop worldwide.

Thelonious Coltrane opens our 5 Years Oiyo journey with a timeless groove.

Raised on samples and vinyl dust, Thelonious Coltrane makes beats that carry nostalgia. Based in Tbilisi, the German-Russian producer has released over a hundred instrumental albums, shaping the sound of modern lofi. With Oiyo, he continues to redefine his sample-driven storytelling — music that feels raw, soulful and timeless.

Smooth textures and soulful chops — DAISI’s “Ain’t Nobody” wraps warmth and groove into a head-nodding haze. The Georgian beatmaker delivers our 2nd single from the 5 Years Oiyo Records compilation, balancing nostalgia and finesse in true Oiyo spirit. DAISI crafts soulful, jazz-infused beats rooted in hip hop and boombap. Inspired by Madlib, Dilla & Nujabes, he blends analog warmth with smooth rhythm. A longtime Oiyo collaborator from Tbilisi, Georgia — shaping the lo-fi scene from his shared studio.

Hailing from a calm, introspective edge of the lo-fi world, yvwn. (pro-nounced "you-win") blends gentle textures and emotional clarity into a sound that feels easy and genuine. His process leans on subtle detail and intention, an approach that has grown with Oiyo - from a joint EP in 2025 to a new album coming in 2026, all rooted in relaxed creative spaces.

Stockholm-bred, globally loved chill vibes

Swedish producer, multi-instrumentalist and engineer Goson blends lofi warmth with jazz harmony and rock roots to create calm, detailed soundscapes. Working with live instruments, rich textures and precise mixing, he aims for emotional balance. Joining Oiyo in 2025, he brings Stockholm-bred, globally loved chill vibes.

Formed through shared vision and cross-continental chemistry, Krynoze & Gabb. return with “Drinks”. Krynoze shapes soothing, emotive lofi atmospheres, blending calm, dreamy textures with deep feeling. Guided by intuition, he builds stories through sound. Connected to Oiyo through several releases since 2024, he’s become a steady part of the community. Rooted in Gurugram, India, he brings a global, heartfelt vision.
